Pretty unique stuff, it's creative yet tasteful, and it feels very confident in the vibe it captures. It sounds sort of like it's rolling along and living life, while still being very intentional. The retro vibe of the production fits perfectly with the composition. I wouldn't have it any other way. :D

wilidacious responds:

thank you!

I love this, it manages to sound iconic while still being original. It's nostalgic yet new, which is very impressive. I love the retro video game vibe combined with more modern DnB production. It's very fun to listen to. Thanks!

garageband I see. (not horrible though lmao)

T3KI responds:

Thanks! I'm trying to lean away from loops in my future songs so I can improve my creativity.

Melodically this is super awesome and I love it! It's a really good song, but the only little thing that I'd critique would be the mix. Drums could punch a little more, and the snare seems a little short and dry. I'm sorry for the nitpicking though, it's a good song. :D

ZenovusGames responds:

Thank you very much, and yes I do need to work on my mixing, it's never been my strong suit. I definitely have a long way to go before I'm confident in my mixes but thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it :)

I like this, I kinda prefer The Desiccated Trail, so in my opinion it's not nececarily better, it's just different, but not bad. :D

RealBlargMaster responds:

It's just less tense because it's set in a peaceful glade. TDT is in a dead forest full of high-level enemies. So, from a gamer standpoint, TDT is much more adventurous than THT

Superb! (Needs punchier drums though imo) + make it longer xD

ChristopheMartineau responds:

Thank you !

Tis is really good, not much to critique, but I the kick could have been louder imo. I'm just being nitpicky lmao (also it's a bit repetitive, but that might be intentional idk)

TeraVex responds:

It is indeed intentional! Lol I made this in a hot sec as a lil celebratory piece! Thank you for the feedback!

The bass could use some more layers, it sounds like it's sust a sub. the song could also be overall wider in the mix. Other than that, it's pretty good :)

Really interesting, I like it a lot :D I really love the combination of synthetic sounds and guitar!

The chords are well composed, but they sound quite dry. try adding a few effects like reverb and delay. (also, inside the synth, slightly increasing the release of the ADSR helps get rid of the clicks.) overall I think it's a good idea but it's very repetitive, so replacing the main chords with something else in some parts would make it sound a lot more interesting :).

Almost-Ichabod responds:

Thanks for the feedback! I don't normally use delay because I have issues finding one I like but I'll keep it in mind.
